They both ended up at the same event, "Flip your switch," where belief repatterning would be used to help shift their perspectives over the next three days. On the morning of the third day, Caitlin wanted to talk to Peter, not even knowing his name yet. She intended to approach him to express her admiration but hesitated. She decided if they were meant to meet, Peter would come over and ask for a hug. Ironically, Peter had noticed Caitlin and was planning to do the same. His first words to her were, "Can I have a hug?" It was from that day that fate seemed to take over. They both truly believe everything happens for a reason. Later that night, Caitlin drove Peter home, and they talked for hours in her truck, reluctant for the evening to end. It concluded with a long hug and Peter lifting Caitlin in a spontaneous twirl. That night, they knew their lives were changed forever, they just didn’t know how much...
Next, their relationship embarked on a journey of growth amidst numerous challenges. Initially, the age gap posed a significant hurdle, with Peter's friends and family expressing strong disapproval. Their skepticism weighed heavily on Peter, causing him to waver in his commitment to Caitlin. Despite these doubts, there were moments of genuine happiness and connection between them. Peter's deep-seated belief that good things in his life were destined to end in disappointment led to a pattern of pushing Caitlin away. As they faced the saturated market in their sanitizer venture, Peter decided to pursue his passion for graphic design. Caitlin, always his steadfast supporter, encouraged him to believe in himself. She herself started a cleaning business to contribute to their shared goals to support his dreams that are now their dreams.

With everything they had been through over the three years Peter knew without a doubt that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Caitlin. They both shared a deep commitment to each other's happiness and knew they wanted a future together. Peter meticulously planned a special and meaningful proposal with Caitlin's mom, that would take place at an event that held significant importance to Caitlin.
They traveled to LA for an event called iPOP, where Caitlin had in previous years showcased her acting and singing talents. Little did Caitlin know, Peter had orchestrated a surprise proposal at the gala night of iPOP. Working closely with Caitlin's mom and event coordinators, Peter managed to get Caitlin on stage in front of roughly 500 people. It was an unforgettable moment as Peter poured out his heart and asked Caitlin to marry him. Overwhelmed with emotion, Caitlin joyously said yes, surrounded by cheers and applause from attendees who had grown to adore them throughout the week. The rest of the night, they were treated like superstars, basking in the love and support of everyone who witnessed their magical proposal.
Now, we're happily living together in our home, celebrating 5 years since we first met. Throughout our journey, we've supported each other with unwavering care, respect, and a love that continues to grow stronger every day.
